About Us:
Our Vision: Ahupua’a Restoration: Reviving the Enchanting Gardens
The Enchanting Gardens Project embodies our commitment to building strength and providing hope. Located in the heart of Maui, this project aims to purchase a share in an 8-acre old botanical garden, transforming it into a haven for those affected by the devastating Maui wildfires and providing 10 Tiny Homesteads .
Our Mission:
At Rainbow Fish Foundation, our mission is to:
- Provide Healing Spaces: We believe that nature has the power to heal. The Enchanting Gardens will offer a tranquil living environment for this displaced due to the Maui Wildfires where they can find solace and rebuild their lives.
- Promote Sustainability: We are committed to sustainable practices. Residents will actively participate in garden restoration and upkeep, fostering a sense of ownership and community.
- Support Economic Independence: We encourage home-based businesses, empowering residents to become self-reliant and contribute to the community’s economic growth.
- Cultural Preservation: We honor Hawaiian culture by partnering with a local Hal’lau, preserving traditions and strengthening spiritual connections to the land.
- Local Food Production: An acre of the land will be dedicated to growing food locally, promoting food security and providing access to fresh, locally sourced produce.
